Doliver Glenn Dorries, age 84, of Hondo passed away Monday, Nov. 5, 2007. He was born May 9, 1923, in San Antonio, the son of William Henry and Edell Lucell (O'Berg) Dorries. He was a civil service aircraft quality assurance inspector at Gary Aircraft, a member of Hermann Sons, and a former member of the U.S. Air Force Reserves. Doliver was preceded in death by his parents; son, Glenn Harvey Dorries; and granddaughters, Brandy Michelle Green and Sarah Dorries; and son-in-law, James Reeves. He is survived by his wife, Ethel Mae (Geyer) Dorries; daughters, Junell Ann Mc-Daniel of Hondo, Vickie Lynn Reeves of Hancock, NH, Sandra Lee Mangold and husband Ronnie of Rio Medina; son, Sheldon Wayne Dorries and wife Cindy of Granbury; and grandchildren, Chris Anthony McDaniel, Shawn Green, Barret Wade Mangold, Bryce Wayne Mangold, Ashley Nicole Dorries and Elizabeth Ann Dorries; brother, Garland William Dorries, and sister, Helen Crystal Motsch, both of San Antonio. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, Nov. 9, at the Guinn-Horger Chapel.
