Dominga DeLeon Maldonado of D'Hanis, Texas, passed away January 7, 2006, at the age of 70. She was born March 3, 1935, in Yancey, the daughter Ascencion & Maria Andrea (Bermea) DeLeon. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Joe B. Maldonado; brothers Guadalupe DeLeon, Juan DeLeon. Dominga is survived by her sons Joe Maldonado of San Antonio, Fernando Maldonado and wife Rosa of Boerne; daughters Angelina Maldonado of San Antonio, Oralia Riojas and husband Jesus of San Antonio; 14 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren; brothers Nicolas DeLeon of Pearsall, Lorenzo DeLeon and wife Margaret of McKamey; sister Rosita Rodriguez and husband Armando of Hondo. The Rosary will be at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 10, at the Guinn-Horger Funeral Home in Hondo and the Funeral Mass, officiated by Rev. Wallis J. Stiles, will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday January 11, at the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Hondo. The pallbearers were Joe Eric Riojas, Jesus Miguel Riojas, Nicolas DeLeon, Fernando Maldonado, Joe Maldonado, Jose Maldonado. Interment will follow in Hondo Cemetery, Guadalupe Section.
