Domingo "Cannon" Sanchez of Hondo, 71, passed away Friday, Apr. 6, 2018. Born July 28, 1946, in Hondo, he was the son of Porfirio and Victoria Ybarra Sanchez. He is preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Carolina Constante, Irene Constante and Margarita Torres; and brother, Benito Sanchez. He is survived by his wife, Guadalupe Esquivel Sanchez; sons, Gabriel Sanchez and Jeffrey Sanchez, all of Hondo; grandchildren, Cedric James, Victor Ray, Joshua Anthony and Gabriel Sanchez Jr.; and brothers, Juan (Rebecca) Sanchez of Hondo and Jose Estrada of San Antonio. Visitation will be Monday, April 9, from 6 to 8 p.m., with a Rosary recited at 7 p.m., at Guinn-Horger Chapel. Funeral Mass will be at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, Apr. 10, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. Interment will be at Hondo Cemetery, Oakwood Section.
