Donald (Donnie) Curtis Conway, of San Antonio, was led by heavenly angels from this Earth on April 9, 2012. He was born in Hondo, TX on August 6, 1958 to Chris Daniel (Danny) Conway, Jr. and Mary Lee Hoover Conway. He is survived by his sister Sherry Conway Price and husband Gerry Price of San Angelo, TX, brother William (Bill) Conway and wife Deb Conway of Plano, TX, niece Dawn Michelle Torres and husband Adrian of San Angelo, TX, great-niece Brittney Pedroza of San Angelo, TX and nieces Michelle Conway, Kathryn Conway, Megan Conway, and Brenna Conway of Plano and daughter Amy Nicole Conway. Donnie was preceded in death by his parents, brother Chris D. Conway, III, paternal grandparents Alma Alice Conway and C.D. Conway, and maternal grandparents Edith Leona and Charles L. Hoover. Donnie was a road construction worker by trade, working for numerous companies in Texas and most recently worked odd heavy equipment jobs in Hondo and the surrounding areas. Always a hard worker, Donnie never backed down from a hard day's work even when his health was failing in recent years. Donnie was a member of the Bandera United Methodist Church and the Quihi Gun Club. In his passing, Donnie was surrounded by friends that loved and cared for him including Beverly Allen Conway and Leslie (Poochie) Batteau. He departs this world knowing that he will not suffer any longer and will soon be surrounded by those dearly departed before him that will greet him with open, loving arms. The Gravesdie service will be at the Quihi Cemetery at 10:00 am. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the American Liver Foundation in honor of Donald Curtis Conway.
