Donald Max Hutson, age 84, of Hondo passed away Saturday, Jan. 22, 2011. He was born Sept. 25, 1926, in Guthrey, OK, the son of Conrad and Edna (Perdue) Hutson. He served in the U.S. Navy in WWII and was a retired store director of the Hondo HEB grocery store. Don was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Ola Mae (White) Hutson in 2007; and brothers, Conrad Jr., James and Carl Hutson. Survivors are his sons, William Edge Jr. and wife Odilia of Corpus Christi and David Hutson and wife Marcie of Sonora, CA; granddaughters, Rhonda Martinez and husband Michael of San Antonio and Sarah Hutson of California; and brothers, Herb Hutson and wife Mary Jo and Marvin Hutson and wife Angie, all of Oklahoma. Visitation will be Wednesday, Jan. 27, 6 to 8 p.m., at the Guinn-Horger Chapel. Graveside service will be at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 27, at Eckart Cemetery at Willow City, north of Fredericksburg.
