Doris Marie "Bea" (Wernette) Rihn, age 82, of Hondo/D'Hanis passed away Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2013. Born in the Murphy Community, Sept. 29, 1931, she was the daughter of Leonard F. and Alice M. (Burrell) Wernette. Bea was an oilfield bookkeeper and she and her husband owned and operated the Hi-90 Drive In for nine years. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Dana Diane Rihn; son, Darrell Dwain Rihn; brother, Glenn Wernette; and sister, Ina Mae Schan. Survivors include her husband, Arnold Roy "Rusty" Rihn; son, Dayle Anthony Rihn and wife Sally of Lytle; daughter, Denise D. Watkins and husband, Donny of D'Hanis; grandchildren, Robert Watkins, Sarah Rihn, Katie Watkins and Samantha Rihn; and brother, Leonard "Metz" Wernette and wife Marian of Hondo. Visitation will be Friday, Nov. 29, from 6 to 8 p.m. with Rosary recited at 7 p.m., at Guinn-Horger Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral service will be Saturday, Nov. 30, 10 a.m. at Guinn-Horger Funeral Home Chapel, followed by interment at Hondo Cemetery, St. John's Section. Pallbearers are Ralph Schan, Justin Eldridge, Leonard Wernette, Justin Koch, Travis Wernette and Anthony Rihn.
