Dorothy Allie (Naegelin) Muennink, age 85, of Hondo passed away Saturday, Feb. 27, 2010. She was born in Castroville Oct. 9, 1924, the daughter of Otto and Ada (Haby) Naegelin. She was a nurse at Medina Memorial Hospital, a homemaker and a member of St. John's Altar Society and Extension Homemakers for many years. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Vernor Walter Muennink; and her brother, Marlin Naegelin. Survivors include her son, Larry W. Muennink and wife Lyn; grandsons, Scott Muennink and wife Kristin and Chris Muennink and wife Aimee, all of Hondo; and three great-grandchildren. Rosary will be at 1:30 p.m., followed by Funeral Mass, on Tuesday, Mar. 2, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. Interment will be at Hondo Cemetery, Oakwood Section.
