Douglas J. "Ducky" Ulbrich, age 87, of Hondo passed away Monday, Nov. 30, 2015. Born May 13, 1928, in rural Hondo, he was the son of Jack Ernest and Lula Dorothea Buss Ulbrich. He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Connie Perkins Ulbrich; son-in-law, Larry Wilson; grandson, Robert Bradley Wilson; and brothers, Jack T. Ulbrich and infant Hershell Joe Ulbrich. He is survived by his sisters, Laverne Raish of Dallas, Shirley Tarrant of San Antonio and Bonnie Groff of Hondo; step children; Robert Hope (Kathryn), Darlene Schaefer (Michael), & Debra Byrd (Robert); three grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. Graveside service will be at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 6, at Hondo Cemetery, Oakwood Section. Funeral Service will follow at 3:00 p.m. at Guinn-Horger Funeral Home
