Drucilla Mary Franger Oefinger, age 80, of Sunrise Beach and San Antonio, TX was called home by our Lord June 5, 2010 in San Antonio. Drucilla was born Sept. 28, 1929 in San Antonio to the late Martin M. and Rose L. Gerdes Franger. Drucilla was a graduate of Brackenridge High School and Our Lady of the Lake University. She was a retired schoolteacher of over 30 years. Her strong Catholic faith supported her as she battled multiple diseases, including pulmonary fibrosis. She is also preceded in death by her husband Paul Ernest Oefinger and an infant sister Shirley Mae Franger. Survivors include her children and their spouses, Dr. Paul E. Jr. and wife Diane Oefinger of Greenwood, Indiana, David M. and wife Lila Oefinger of Dallas, Evelyn Oefinger of San Antonio, and Emilie Oefinger Rogers of Boerne; 4 grandchildren, Melissa (Oefinger) and husband Dean Weseli, Tara Oefinger, Rebecca Rogers, and Christopher Rogers. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday June 8, 2010 at Tondre-Guinn Funeral Home in Castroville with a Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be on Wednesday, June 9, 2010 at St. Louis Catholic Church, Castroville at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at the Hondo Cemetery.
