Edna L. Nietenhoefer, age 85, died November 4, 2006, in Hondo, Texas. She was born in Quihi, Texas, on January 7, 1921, the daughter of Henry John & Pauline Julia (Lindeburg) Loessberg. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Elmer Adolph August Nietenhoefer; brothers Arnold John Loessberg, Elmer H. Loessberg; sister Annie Pauline Dailey. Edna retired as manager of the Hondo ISD Cafeteria system after 32 years of service. She is survived by her son Kenneth C. Nietenhoefer and wife Carol of Boerne, daughter Betty Jean Baker and husband John of Liberty Hill, son Dennis Nietenhoefer and wife Sandi of South Lake. Visitation is scheduled from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Monday November 6, at the Guinn-Horger Funeral Home. The Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, November 7, at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Quihi. Burial will at Hondo Cemetery, Oakwood Section.
