Elesa "Elsa" Sandoval Espindola, age 73, went to be with the Lord Thursday, Nov. 30, 2023, in Plano.

Born in Hondo, April 28, 1950, she was the daughter of Felipe and Louisa Rico Sandoval.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Raul and Joe Rey Sandoval.

Survivors include her sister, Elida Rico Gonzales (Paul) of Ingram, and her partner, Victor Jimenez of Dallas.

A Memorial service will be held Saturday, Jan. 13, 2024, at Iglesia Del Nuevo Testamento, Hondo, at 1:00 p.m., officiated by Rudolfo Rodriguez. Interment of cremains will follow at Hondo Cemetery, Guadalupe Section.
