Elsie Modena Dixon, age 82, of rural Hondo passed away Friday, Jan. 18, 2008, in Castroville. Elsie was born Apr. 24, 1925, in Waurika, OK. She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert Lee and Bertha Swofford Ball; sisters, Nora Hanchett and Alice Pitts; brother, Wade Ball; and two grandchildren. Elsie is survived by daughters, Judith Paulson and husband Robert of rural Hondo, Donna Chantland and Dorthy Miller; son, Robert Dixon and wife Virginia; 11 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, and 30 great-great-grandchildren. Graveside service was held at 10 a.m., Friday, Jan. 25, at Memorial Park Cemetery in Bartlesville, OK. The service was led by Rev. Ralph O. Dershen
