Elta Agnes (Leinweber)Gooding, age 97, of Kerrville, formerly of Hondo, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 9, 2008. She was born Sept. 22, 1911, in Hondo to Ernest R. and Ida (Decker) Leinweber. Elta was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Irvin B.Gooding; brother, Elmer Joe Leinweber; sister, Erna Martin; and three infant siblings. Elta is survived by her daughter, Karen Anderson and husband Roger of Kerrville, and grandson, Jeff Anderson of San Antonio. Graveside service was held Saturday, Dec. 13, at Hondo Cemetery, Oakwood Section.Casketbearers were Jeffrey R. Anderson, M. Roger Anderson, Dale B. Martin, Bruce Martin, Travis Fohn, and R. K. Gooding.
