Enedina Ybarra Guedea of Hondo, age 91, passed away Sunday, Aug. 20, 2017. Born in Hondo, Nov. 25, 1925, she was the daughter of Eulario and Ramona Rivera Ybarra. Enedina will be fondly remembered as an excellent homemaker and a loving mother and grandmother. She will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Francisco Guedea; sons, Jose and Oscar; daughter, Oralia Ytuarte; a grandson; two great-grandchildren; and her 11 brothers and sisters. Survivors include her sons, Silverio (Amparo) Guedea, Arturo (Vangie) Guedea, Ricardo (Hope) Guedea and Ramiro (Debbie) Guedea; daughters, Josie Martinez, Nieves Garza, Rose (Richard) Ramirez and Mary Ann (Rudy) Vidal; 30 grandchildren, 63 great-grandchildren, 11 great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation will be Friday, Aug. 25, 5 to 8 p.m., at Guinn-Horger Funeral Home Chapel. Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Funeral service will be held Saturday, Aug. 26, 10 a.m., at Guinn-Horger Funeral Home Chapel, followed by interment at Hondo Cemetery, Oakwood Section.
