Erica Rose Gomez, age 33, of Austin, TX, passed away Oct. 6, 2009. Erica was born Jan. 24, 1976 in Carrizo Springs, TX. Survivors include her parents, Raul and Yolanda Gomez of Castroville; siblings, Sonia Gomez and Hilario Martinez of Austin, Marisella G. Alvarez and her husband Frank of Castroville, Vanessa Marie Gomez of Austin, Jessica Dawn Gomez of Las Cruces, NM; daughter, Samatha Monique Gomez of Castroville; niece, Dominique Nicole Saiz; nephews, CPL David Saiz USMC and his wife Brittany, Jaime Diaz and Joseph Diaz; great nieces, Jayda Buck and Brina Saiz. Visitation will be on Sunday, Oct. 11, 2009 from 5:00 p.m. to 5:45 p.m. at Tondre-Guinn Funeral Home. The Funeral Mass will be held at 7:00 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 11, 2009 at St. Louis Catholic Church in Castroville. Services will conclude at the church.
