Erminia Cortez Reyes, Age 67 years, 1 months, and 8 days, of D'Hanis, Texas, died on Wednesday, December 15, 2004. She was born in D'Hanis, on November 7, 1937, the daughter of Sabino & San Juana (Cortez) Reyes. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Francisco Reyes, Santos Reyes, Cruz Reyes. Erminia is survived by her daughter Sylvia Gauna and husband Cruz of D'Hanis; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren; brother Gavino Reyes, Jr. of D'Hanis, sisters Eulogia Pargas of D'Hanis, Elisa Silva and husband Manuel of Uvalde. The Rosary will be at Holy Cross Catholic Church on Friday, December 17 at 6:00 p.m and the Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 am Saturday, December 18, at the Holy Cross Catholic Church in D'Hanis. The pallbearers were Jeff Felan, Julio Obregon, Jr., Cruz Gauna, Jr., Joe Louie Obregon, Jason Ortiz, Ramon Zapata. Burial will follow in the Cortez Cemetery, D'Hanis.
