Ernestina Correa Martinez of Hondo passed away Wednesday, May 11, 2022, at the age of 78.

Born in Hondo, Sept. 2, 1943, she was the daughter of Jose Sr. and Consuelo Constante Correa.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Juana "Janie" Navarro; and brother, Joe Correa, Jr.

Survivors include her husband, Guadalupe Martinez; children, Steven Martinez (Geneva), Esther Longoria (Felix) and Alicia Gauna (Pete), all of Hondo; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; brothers, Candelario Correa (Alicia) of San Antonio and Richard Correa; sisters, Becky Sanchez (Juan) and Estella Quintanilla (Alejos); sister-in-law, Nelda Correa; and brother-in-law,  Angel B. "Coro" Navarro, all of Hondo.

Visitation will be Friday, May 13,  6 to 7 p.m., at Guinn-Horger Funeral Home Chapel.

Funeral service will be Saturday, May 14, 10 a.m., at the Church on the Hill, followed by interment at Hondo Cemetery, Oakwood Annex.
