Estella Mejia of D'Hanis passed away Wednesday, Nov. 10, 2021, at the age of 83.

Born in San Antonio, May 24, 1938, she was the daughter of Ernest and Sarah Rodriguez Mejia.

Estella retired after some 20 years as a cook for Christian Brothers Winery in Napa, CA.

She loved her children, grandchildren and extended family very much. She enjoyed working in her garden and, as a Christian, had great faith in Jesus Christ, our Savior.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sons, Ernest Lucio and David Andrew Lucio; and brothers, Richard Mejia and Raul Mejia.

Survivors include her children, Guadalupe Lucio of Washington, Lucinda Franco, Pedro Lucio, Linda Martin (David), and Thomas Edward Tull, all of Napa CA, and Patricia Quesada of San Antonio; 21 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren; and siblings, Ernest Mejia (Irene), Angelita Mejia, Beatrice Herrera, Paul Mejia and Sylvia Silva, all of D'Hanis, Andrew Rodriguez of Dallas, Domingo Rodriguez of Sonora, and Henry Mejia of D'Hanis.

Funeral service will be at Guinn-Horger Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, Nov. 19,  at 11:00 a.m.
