Eufrasia Rodriguez Gonzales, age 90, of Yancey passed away Friday, Sept. 24, 2010. Born Apr. 13, 1920, in Yancey, she was the daughter of Luis and Isabella (Ramirez) Rodriguez. She and Ysidro Gonzales were married Mar. 26, 1938, at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Yancey. She was a homemaker. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; brothers, Antonio and Simon Rodriguez; sisters, Prudencia "Pola" Lopez and Antonia Sarabia; grandchildren, Javier Gonzales, Velma Carrillo and Danny Carrillo; and son-in-law, Alton Rudolph. She is survived by her sons, Felipe R. Gonzales and wife Alicia and Juan R. Gonzales and wife Mary, all of San Antonio; and daughters, Maria G. Sanchez and husband Lupe, Rosa G. Carrillo and husband Daniel Jr., Elvira G. DeLeon and husband Manuel, and Diana G. Rudolph, all of Yancey; 15 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Rosary was held at 9:45 a.m., followed by Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m., on Monday, Sept. 27, at Holy Cross Catholic Church, D'Hanis. Pallbearers are Beatrice Banda, Melinda Garza, Denise Rudolph, Ismael Carrillo, Felipe A. Gonzales and Michael Gonzales. Interment was be at Yancey Cemetery.
