Eulogia "Logia" Reyes Pargas, age 87, of D'Hanis passed away Thursday, Sept. 4, 2014. Born in D'Hanis, Feb. 2, 1927, she was the daughter of Sabino and San Juana Cortez Reyes. She was a homemaker, a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Eulogia was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Eluterio A. Pargas; son, Eddie Pargas; brothers, Francisco "Frank", Santos C. and Cruz Reyes; and sister, Erminia Reyes; brother-in-law: Frank Zapata. Survivors include her daughters, Lydia (Gilbert) Ortiz, Rosa (Joe) Felan, Maria (Frank) Zapata; 12 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren; brother, Gavino Reyes; and sister, Elisa Silva. Visitation will be Tuesday, Sept. 9, 9 to 9:30 a.m., with a Rosary to be recited at 9:30, followed by the Mass at 10 a.m., at Holy Cross Catholic Church. Interment will be at Cortez Cemetery, D'Hanis.
