Eva G. Morin of Hondo, Texas, passed away December 9, 2003, in Las Vegas, at the age of 62. She was born in Hondo, TX on July 6, 1941. She was a member of the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Hondo. She taught at the First Baptist Church School in Hondo. She is preceded in death by her father: Pedro Gutierrez; grandson: Derek Morin. She is survived by husband Juan "Johnny" Morin; sons: Gary Wayne Morin and wife Lisa of Hondo, Ronald "Butch" Morin of Hondo; daughters: Yvonne Marie Flowers of Hondo, Tracey L. Morin Saenz and husband Marcus of San Antonio; five grandchildren; mother: Sulema Gutierrez of Hondo; brother: Pete Gutierrrez, Jr. and wife Santa of Crowley, Texas. The Rosary was at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, December, 14, 2003 at the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church and the Funeral Mass was at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, December 15, 2003 at the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Hondo. Epifania P. Ybarra recited the Rosary, Fr. Jeff Pehl oficiated at the Funeral Mass and Jan Nixon was the Organist during the Funeral Mass. The Pallbearers were: Frank S. Juarez, Marcus Saenz, Juan Ybarra, Albert R. Lopez, Alfonso A. Treviño, and Raymond M. Olvera. The burial followed at the Hondo Cemetery, Guadalupe Section.
