Eva Dell Rainey, lovingly known as "Mammaw", age 81, of Bandera, formerly of Hondo, passed away Saturday, July 21, 2012. Born Oct. 15, 1930, in Marathon, she was the daughter of R. E. and Hattie Stewart. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 53 years, James Robert Rainey "Pappaw"; son, Lynn Rainey; brothers, R. E. and Gene Stewart; sister, Lelia Babb; and son-in-law, Robert Bostic. Survivors include children, Richard and Kathy Rainey of San Angelo, Glynn and Sandy Rainey of Bandera, and Rebecca Bostic of Uvalde; grandchildren, Brandy Rainey and Steve, Clint and Julie Rainey, Codie and Leslie Rainey, Nikki Rainey, Logan and Laci Bostic; great-grandson, Slayten Rainey; nephews, nieces, cousins, in-laws, and countless friends. Graveside service will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday, July 22, at Hondo Cemetery, Oakwood Section.
