Evelyn Marie Wiemers Grell Steubing of Hondo passed away Sunday, June 28, 2020. She was 77.

Born in Hondo, Aug. 2, 1942, she was the daughter of Wesley C. and Norma Schroeder Wiemers.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, William R. Grell and O. J. "Butzie" Steubing; and sister, Betty Jeane Wiemers.

Survivors include her daughter, Sherri D. Grell of Hondo; son, Warren W. Grell (Amy) of St. Paul MN; daughter, Jennifer "Susan" McLeod; brother, James Edward Wiemers (Diane); and sister, Dorothy Ann Fowler of Biry.

Visitation will be Thursday, July 2, 4:00 to 6:00 p.m., at Guinn-Horger Funeral Home Chapel. Social distancing and masks are required.

Funeral service will be Friday, July 3, 9:00 a.m., at Guinn-Horger Chapel, followed by interment at Quihi Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Kevin Grell, Brandon Grell, Richard Jones, Lane Walker, Chris Fowler and Cody Fowler.
