Evelyn J. Nester age 90 a loving wife and devoted mother passed into eternal life on Tuesday, December 16, 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband, Homer H. Nester and her parents, David and Eva Morris. Evelyn is survived by her 4 children, Robert (Pauline) Nester, William (Brenda) Nester, Mary Nester and Patsy Nester; grandchildren, Greg (Denise) Nester, Shelly (Tom) Vickers, Bret Nester, Blake Nester and Bradi Nester; 5 great grandchildren; sisters, Pat (Fred) Cheney, Marilyn (Bobby) Sumner and Carolyn (Ted) Bristow; and numerous nieces and nephews. SERVICES The Rosary and Mass will begin at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, December 20, 2014 at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 310 FM 2200 South in D'Hanis, TX with the interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery also in D'Hanis. Pallbearers will be Greg Nester, Tom Vickers, Bret Nester, Blake Nester, Gavin Nester and Jakob Nester. Arrangements by Mission Park Funeral Chapels in San Antonio.
