Fecundo "Frank" Alvarado was born September 23, 1942. He passed away July 2, 2003 in Harvey, IL, at the age of 60 years, nine months, and nine days. Fecundo was preceded in death by his parents: Simon & Adela (Garza) Alvarado; brother: Frank Alvarado; sister: Rita Castro. He is survived by his wife: Maria (Perez) Alvarado of Blue Island, IL; daughter: Maria "Angie" Alvarado of Blue Island, IL; sister: Adela Becerra and husband Manuel of Waco, brother: Jesus Alvarado and wife Orrbilia of Cleborn. Fecundo was the former owner of Bestway Sewer Repair in Blue Island, IL. There was a visitation at the Hickey Memorial Chapels in Blue Island, IL on Monday, July 7, 2003 with a Wake Service at 5:00 pm. Visitation will be at the Guinn-Horger Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 9, 2003 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm with a Rosary Service at 7:00 pm. The Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 am Thursday July 10, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. Pallbearers were Jesus Alvarado, Jr., David Becerra, Manuel Becerra, Sr., Manuel Becerra, Jr., Christopher Sanchez, Joseph Truscka, Jonathyn Suede Sanchez, Toby Treviño. Interment will follow in Hondo Cemetery, Oakwood Section.
