Felipa Cipriano Lopez of Hondo, 84, passed away Tuesday, July 5, 2016. Born Nov. 26, 1931, in Laredo, she was the daughter of Pedro and Maria Marcos Rodriguez Cipriano. She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Rogelio Lopez. Survivors include her sons, Baldemar Sandoval and Juan Jose "Joey" (Nancy) Lopez of Hondo; daughters, Eva (Richard) Mendoza of Hondo, Rosa (Fernando) Maldonado of Boerne, Beatrice (Simon) Garcia of Austin, Maria Knowles of Hondo and Felipa Guadalupe (Floyd)Rivera of Hondo; 15 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; brothers, Rogelio Cipriano of Washington, Pedro Cipriano Jr. of Hondo, Guillermo "Willie" Cipriano of San Antonio; and sisters, Esther (Guillermo)Cipriano and Maria Cipriano, both of San Antonio. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., with Rosary recited at 7 p.m., on Thursday, July 7, at the Guinn-Horger Chapel. Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m., Friday, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, followed by interment at Hondo Cemetery, Oakwood Section
