Felix Rangel, age 79, passed away on May 30, 2005 in San Antonio. He was born on June 12, 1925, in Beaumont, the son of Juan & Ysidra (Villa) Rangel. He is preceded in death by his parents; 1st wife Isabel Zuniga Rangel; son Ernesto Rangel; brother Saladonio Rangel; sister Ramona Villa. Felix is survived by his wife Maria Elena Garza Rangel; grandsons Ernesto Rangel, Jr. of Bandera, David Rangel, Ruben Rangel both of Hondo; daughter-in-law Lupe Rangel; nieces and nephews. The Rosary was at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 1, at the Guinn-Horger Funeral Home Chapel and the Funeral Mass, officiated by Fr. Jeff Pehl, was at 10:00 am on Thursday, June 2, at the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. Burial followed at the Yancey Cemetery.
