Florine Ezetta Mason, 88, of Palestine, Texas, who was currently residing in Hondo, passed away Monday, Dec. 3, 2007. She was born Jan. 14, 1919, in Blackfoot, to Nathan and Nellie (Cornwell) Magee. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Richard Dave Mason; three infant children; daughter, Wanda Sue Gaston; sons, Jerry Mason and Larry Mason; and brothers, David Magee and William Magee. She is survived by her sons, Ronnie Glenn Mason and wife Dorothy of Hondo, Doyle E. Mason of Tyler, Richard Eugene Mason and Gary P. Mason, both of Houston; 16 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and 14 great-great-grandchildren; half-sisters, Rebecca Glenn of Bullard and Peggy Smith of Bacliff; and half-brother, Robert Magee of Poyner. Memorial service will be held February 23, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at the Friendship Baptist Church in Blackfoot, Texsas. Interment of cremains will follow at the Rock Church Cemetery, near Blackfoot, Texas.
