Obituary

Frances Ann Boehle Haass, age 78, of Pearson, TX, passed away July 27, 2015. She was born January 17, 1937 in San Antonio. In 1955 she graduated from Hondo High School. For many years she worked as a title clerk and sales representative for Brown Chevrolet, Smith Chevrolet and Benson Ingram Park Auto Center. She was one of the pioneers to implement the first stages of the East Medina Water System. Frances loved bowling, dancing, reading, crossword puzzles and gardening. She was friendly, outgoing and never met a stranger. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest D. and Mary Breiten Boehle and brother, Otis Boehle. Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Glenn Haass of Pearson, son, Dean Haass of Pearson; daughters and sons-in-law, Cheryl and Glenn Barrow of Devine, Kimberly and Kerry Winters of Natalia; 10 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren and several nieces. The Tondre-Guinn Chapel will be open for visiting with the family on Thursday, July 30, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with a Memorial Service at 7:00 p.m. The Memorial Mass of Resurrection will be held on Friday, July 31, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in La Coste. Services will conclude at the church. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made in her memory to the Alzheimer's Association or please plant something somewhere in her memory.
