Frutoso "Fred" Sauceda of Hondo, Texas, passed away March 16, 2006, at the age of 77, in San Antonio. He was born January 21, 1929, in Biry, the son of Ysidoro & Refugia (Garcia) Sauceda. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Theresa (Rendon) Sauceda; brothers Ramon Sauceda, Jesus Sauceda, Juan Sauceda, Antonio Sauceda; sisters Maria Mejia, Lili Criado. Fred is survived by his daughters Elva Miranda and husband Reynaldo of Hondo, Sylvia Ruiz of Richmond, Irma Farley and husband Dennis of Garland; son Tony Sauceda of Hondo; six grandchildren; brothers Guadalupe Sauceda of Wichita Falls, Inocencio Sauceda and wife Lucia of Castroville, Victor Sauceda and wife Virginia of Plainview; sister Patsy Galindo of Childress. The Visitation was from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 19, at the Guinn-Horger Funeral Home and the Funeral Service, officiated by Pastors Ruben Sauceda and Samuel Sauceda was at 10:00 a.m. Monday March 20, at the First Baptist Church in Hondo. The casketcarriers were Israel Sauceda, Chris Sauceda, Jimmy Sauceda, Sr., Rudy Sauceda, David Hinojosa, Jr., Phillip Sauceda. Interment will followed in the Hondo Cemetery, Guadalupe Section.
