Gary Keith Glasser of Hondo went to be with the Lord  Tuesday, July 18, 2023.  He was 81.

Born Feb. 21, 1942, in Bellaire, Ohio, he was the son of  Charles Francis Glasser and Lois Louise Larke Glasser.

Gary was a faithful and loving husband and father. He loved cooking for his family and friends. He served two years in the United States Army and served as a church lay pastor and deacon for most of his career. In his later years he served and preached for the First Baptist Church Manna Pantry.

Gary fearlessly shared the Gospel of Jesus Christ with anyone who would listen. He wanted to make sure everyone knew Jesus as their Lord and Savior.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Allan Glasser.

He is survived by his wife, Lori Harrison Glasser; son and daughter, Anthony M. Burke and Mika Burke of San Antonio; and grandchildren, Kevin Takami Burke and Emily Michelle Burke.

Interment will be at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery at 9:00 a.m., Monday, July 24.

Memorial service will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, July 29, at First Baptist Church, Hondo.
