Guadalupe "Lupe" C. Salazar, age 90, of Hondo passed away Thursday, Apr. 12, 2012. Born June 18, 1921, in D'Hanis, she was the daughter of Ramon and Eufrasia (Luna) Cadena. Lupe is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Herman Salazar; brothers, Saragoso J., Ramon, Jr., and Raul Cadena; and sisters, Emilia Flores, ovelia Benavides, Rita Maldanado, Sofia Torres. She is survived by her son, Jesus Roberto Flores and wife Rose Ann; grandchildren, Robert Anthony Flores and wife Michele and Monica Lee Andreoszzi and husand Edward John; and great-grandchildren, Lynzie Rose, Devon John, Gilbert Anthony and Skyler June. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., with Rosary recited at 7 p.m., Sunday, Apr. 15, at the Guinn-Horger Chapel. Funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m., Monday, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, followed by interment at Hondo Cemetery, Oakwood Section. Pallbearers were Devon Andreozzi, Gilbert Flores, Raul S. Cadena, Rudy Flores, Pilar Hernandez and Ed J. Andreozzi II.
