Henry Sibley Meyer, age 63, of Hondo passed away Friday, Apr. 1, 2011. He was born Mar. 27, 1948, in Hondo, the son of Hugh Holloway Meyer and Mary Florence (Sibley) Meyer, both of whom precede him in death. He served in the US Army during the Viet Nam war. He was an attorney and a member of the State Bar of Texas. Survivors are his daughter, Heather Samantha Rowe and husband Capt. Hugh C. Rowe of Germany; grandson, Emmett Michael Conway Rowe; step-granddaughter, Brooke Annalyn Rowe; and sister, Mary Clara Doubet and husband Frederick of Hondo. Visitation will be Friday, Apr. 8, 6 to 8 p.m., at the Guinn-Horger Chapel with Rosary recited at 7 p.m. Funeral Mass will be Saturday, Apr. 9, 11 a.m., at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Hondo. Interment will be at Hondo Cemetery, Oakwood Section.
