Psalm 1:14 Herbert James "Fritz" Warner was welcomed into this world on February 11, 1926. On September 30, 2008, he was received to his final home by Jesus, his first wife Dorothy Raye, his mother Leonie Warner, his father Albert Warner and his sister Evelyn Liebbe. Fritz was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. He received his law degree from Saint Mary's University and worked for Forest Oil for over forty years. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, reading and was an avid fly fisherman. A true and faithful servant of the Lord, Fritz sought to enrich the lives of those around him by his innate kindness and generosity. Fritz is survived by his wife Wilma, brother William and wife Tiffany and six children: Penny and her husband Ralph, John, Abby and her husband Fred, Cinda, Paul and his wife Jill, and Missy and her husband David. He also has ten grandchildren whom he loved and adored: Karyn, Katie, Mandy, Lauren, Jeff, Sara, Jared, Jacob, Allie, and Joey, as well as four great grandchildren: Braydon, Jenna, Sydney, and Riley. The Rosary will be recited at the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Hondo at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 2, 2008. The Funeral Mass will be at the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Hondo at 10:00 a.m on Friday, October 3. The pallbearers were Jeff Pope, Jacob Warner, Fred Duffy, John Warner, Ralph Luddecke, Jared Stanford. The Entombment will follow at the Hondo Cemetery, St. John's Mausoleum. There will be a Memorial Mass at St Francis Episcopal Church, Saturday October 4, 2008 at 2:00 PM, located at 4242 Bluemel, San Antonio Texas 78240, 210-696-0834.
