Hilmer Ben Boehle of Hondo, age 92, passed away Monday, March 11, 2019. Born Dec. 8, 1926, at the family home in Quihi, he was the son of Willie Ben and Lena Katherina Neumann Boehle. He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 64 years, Betty Ruth Weber Boehle; and his siblings, Ella Whittle, Aaron Boehle, Clarence Boehle, Lillian Zimmerlie and Viola Phillips. He is survived by his sons, Blake (Marlene) Boehle, Brian Boehle and Russell Boehle, all of Hondo; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m., Saturday, Mar. 16, at Guinn-Horger Chapel, Hondo. Interment will be at Quihi Cemetery.
