Homer Henry Leinweber of Uvalde, Texas, passed away December 18, 2003, in San Antonio, at the age of 79. He was born in Rural Hondo, Texas on September 30, 1924. He is preceded in death by his parents: Henry August & Emilie Margaret (Reitzer) Leinweber;. He is survived by his wife: Maxine (Mayfield) Leinweber; sons: Timothy J. Leinweber and wife Diane of Colorado Springs, CO; Mark A. Leinweber and wife Wren of Uvalde; grandson: James Leinweber and wife Jessica of Corpus Christi, three step grandchildren; great grandson: Christopher Leinweber, five step great grandchildren; sisters: Edna Geuea of Hondo, Hilda Leinweber of San Antonio. The Visitation was Sunday, December, 21, 2003 from 3:00 pm until 5:00 pm and the Funeral Service was at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, December 22, 2003 at the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Hondo. The pallbearers were: James W. Leinweber, Stanley Wilson, Jeff M. Chaapel, Thomas C. Goetzel, Randy Johnson, Mark Leinweber, Paul Schmidt. Burial followed in the Hondo Cemetery, Oakwood Section.
