Hulda N. Wiemers, age 102, was born April 22, 1900 in Castel, Texas. She passed away April 21, 2003 in Hondo, Texas. Surviving are son: Franklin T. Wiemers, Daughters: Frances Leinweber, June Fuos, LaVerne Schulte and husband Jerome, and Imogene Meyers and husband Wm. C. all of Hondo, 9 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. She was preceded by her parents John & Alvina (Kothman) Schneider, husband Theodore G. Wiemers, brothers Earnest, Sam, John, Frank, Lee and an infant brother Schneider, sisters Annie Bode, Lillie Moore, and Ida Wiemers. The funeral service will be at New Fountain United Methodist Church on Thursday, April 24, at 10:00 am. Interment will follow in the Hondo Cemetery, Oakwood Section.
