Ingeborg Janzer Burk of Hondo, age 74, passed away Tuesday, July 8, 2014. Born in Erbes-Büdesheim, Germany, she was the daughter of Hermann and Kathrina (Kropp) Janzer. She was a very strong woman, having survived Nazi Germany in WWII. She was a homemaker, a loving wife and amazing mother. Ingeborg was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and two sisters. Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Kenneth Wyman Burk of Hondo; daughters, Dorothy Cockrell and husband Stephen of Bussey IA, Linda Bickford and husband Jeff of Federal Way WA, and Peggy Sullivan and husband Richy of Hondo; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
