Irma Dee "Jackie" (Cooper) Fuos, age 79, of Kerrville passed away Monday, Sept. 24, 2007. Jackie was born Oct. 27, 1927, in Alcorn County, MS, to William R. and Edna Louise (Eaton) Cooper. She and Douglas J. Fuos were married May 21, 1949, in San Antonio. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Kerrville and of the Hermann Sons Lodge in San Antonio. She worked as a clerk at various savings and loan institutions in San Antonio, for the Bexar County Sheriff's Department, and for the City of El Paso. Jackie loved to travel, eat out, and go fishing. She is survived by her husband of 58 years; cousin, Jonell Dukes of Fort Worth; cousins-in-law, Gary Schweers and wife Janice of Sugarland and Beverly Schweers Palmer and husband Jim of San Antonio; a half-brother, Jim Stutts, and half-sister, Maxine Killough, both of Mississippi. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 27, and funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, Sept. 28, both at Guinn-Horger Chapel, 2006 Ave. M, Hondo. Interment will be at Hondo Cemetery, Oakwood Section. The family suggests memorials be made to VistaCare Hospice, 1001 Water Street, Kerrville TX 78208.
