Isabel Ybarra Del Toro, age 81, of Hondo passed away peacefully on March 16, 2012. She was born on June 8, 1930, in Hondo, Texas, to Jose M. Ybarra and Ventura Herrera Ybarra. Isabel was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jose M. Del Toro; brothers, Jose Ibarra, Gabriel Ybarra and Pedro Ybarra. She will be missed dearly by her family and friends. Survivors include her loving daughter, Sonia Del Toro; son, Rene Del Toro and wife Monica; grandchildren, Veronica, Serena and Steven; sisters-in-law, Elva Ibarra, Catarina Ybarra, Mary Lydia Ybarra; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday March 21 at the Guinn-Horger Funeral Home with a Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday March 22 at the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. Pallbearers will be Shaun Ybarra, Jason Ybarra, Steven Salinas, Joe Ibarra, Derek Tapia and Ruben Tapia Jr. Burial will follow in the Hondo Cemetery, Oakwood Section. The family would like to thank our mother's caregiver, Beatriz Rodriguez, for the wonderful care and love she gave our mother.
