Isidra (Ibarra) Hernandez of D'Hanis, age 103, five months and 30 days, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2007. She was born May 15, 1904, in D'Hanis, to Encarnacion and Estefana (Martinez) Hernandez. She was a homemaker. Isidra was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Eulalio A. Hernandez; brother, Benito Ibarra; daughters, Antonia Hernandez and Dionicia Sanchez; sons, Jose Paulino Hernandez and Jose Ibarra; and granddaughter, Rebecca. She is survived by sons, Vicente Hernandez and wife Juanita of D'Hanis, Julian Hernandez and wife Eustolia and Sotero Hernandez and wife Esther, all of San Antonio, Luis Hernandez and wife Esther of Houston; daughters, Micaela Morin of D'Hanis and Maria Garza and husband Pedro of Hondo; daughter-in-law, Eustolia Hernandez of Houston; 30 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren; and sisters, Guillerma Mares of Uvalde, and Maria Varela of Hondo. Rosary was recited at 9:45 a.m., followed by the Mass at 10 a.m., on Saturday, Nov. 17, at Holy Cross Catholic Church, D'Hanis, with Fr. Wallis J. Stiles officiating. Pallbearers were Anthony Morin, Rolando Palacios, Enrique Garza, Jesse Hernandez, Ralph J. Hernandez and Rudolph R. Hernandez. Interment was at San Francisco Cemetery.
