Ismael Gonzales, age 50, of Hondo passed away Thursday, Dec. 26, 2013. Born July 27, 1963, in Hondo, he was the son of Augustin and Bertha (Barrientes) Gonzales. He is preceded in death by his father. He is survived by his mother; brother, Augustine Gonzales Jr. and wife of Irving; and sisters, Evangelina Perez of Devine and Hilda Gonzales of San Antonio; nieces and nephews. Rosary at 10:30 a.m., followed by Funeral Mass at 11:00, will be held Saturday, Dec. 28, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. Interment will be at Hondo Cemetery, Oakwood Section.
