Jack Patrick Voigt Sr., age 69, of Quihi passed away Tuesday, July 27, 2010. Born Feb. 14, 1941, in SanAntonio, he was the fifth of 12 children born to the late Henry Julius and Mable (Fuller) Voigt. He was a rancher. From his early teens, he was involved in rodeo, participating in events all over South Texas. He was a lifetime PRCA member. Jack is survived by his daughter, Tammy Lou Voigt; sons, Jack Patrick Voigt Jr. and wife Judy and Marcus Ty Voigt and wife Lynn; sisters and brothers, Doris Young of Helotes, Henry "Sonny" Voigt and wife Tommy of Boerne, Joyce West of Del Rio, Harold Voigt and wife Shirley of Hondo, Carolyn "Judy" Christians and husband Ronnie of Atascosa, Janet "Shorty" Tuttle and husband Frank of San Antonio, Betty Clark of Helotes, Kenneth "Timmy" Voigt and wife Linda of D'Hanis, Sandy Byram and husband John of Cuero, Donnie Voigt and wife Dana of Helotes, and Richard "Butch" Voigt of LaVernia; grandchildren, Amy and Billy Dillard, Cody and Tyler Witt, and Ryan, Aaron and Camron Rachui; and great-grandchildren, Colyn, Brent and Hunter Dillard. Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 12 noon. with a memorial service at 10:45 a.m. Saturday, July 31, at Guinn-Horger Funeral Home Chapel.
