Today we come together to celebrate the life of Jane Ann Starnes, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Jane Ann Starnes, 77, of San Antonio, Texas passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones, on June 26, 2024. Jane was born in San Antonio, Texas on August 29, 1946.  She was a beloved wife of nearly 60 years to the love of her life, Leo C. Starnes of San Antonio, TX.

Jane is survived by her 3 children, Michael Starnes (wife, Stacie Starnes), Kimberly Ann West (husband, Jeff West) and Jennifer Dobie; 6 grandchildren, Michael Todd Starnes II, Darrian Wiatrek (husband, Bryon Wiatrek), Calvin Starnes (wife, Leanna Starnes), Jayson West, Coy Dobie (wife, Allison Dobie) and Kaylee Ann West; and 4 great-grandchildren, Aria Jane, Michael Todd III, Luke and Stella Ann;  2 brothers, Thad and Billy Blessing; and 2 sisters, Judy Spencer and Nona Blessing.

Though she will be missed, she will be reunited with her son, Troy Starnes (wife, Denise Starnes} and two grandsons, Dalton and Zachary.  Her memories will live on through her family and friends.

The funeral will be held Saturday, June 29, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Guinn-Horger Chapel in Hondo, Texas; followed by the burial at Hondo Cemetery.
