Janet Paula Reger Anderson of San Antonio, 75, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2025.

Born October 14, 1950 in Dayton, Ohio, she was the daughter of Paul Ellis Reger and Myra Leah Brucks Reger.

Janet was a photographer, songwriter, and singer. The late Jerry Blanton nicknamed her "song machine" , because there         for a while she was cranking out 2-3 songs a day. Janet loved nature and God's country living.  All who knew her, know she was kind but persistent.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Joe Raymond Anderson; and her brother, Mark Myron Reger.

Surviving are her sons, Steven Patrick Anderson and wife Tanya of San Antonio and Timothy Glen Anderson of New Braunfels;  6 grandchildren, Kyle Raymond Anderson wife Chelsea of Boerne, Tyler Brice Anderson of Big Springs, William Lee James Anderson of San Antonio, Shania Dawn Anderson of Kerrville, Dawnika Lynne-Marie Anderson of Brownwood, and Katelyn Faye Anderson of Kerrville. 2 great grandchildren Jackson Myles Anderson of Boerne, and Ronan Ray Anderson of Boerne.

Her family is planning a private service at the family plot in Quihi Cemetery.
