Jesus Anthony Rodriguez of Hondo, 28, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 1, 2009.

Born May 19, 1981, in Hondo, he was the son of Jesus S. and Maria M. (Gonzales) Rodriguez.

Anthony was a free-spirit, living life according to his own rules. Not a day passed unenjoyed; not an experience unrelished. Generous with his large personality, contagious smile, and unforgettable charm–he spread joy effortlessly. Anthony loved hip-hop and could often be heard reciting Wu-Tang lyrics or singing his own freestyle. He will be missed dearly by his friends, family, and those blessed enough to have crossed his path.

He is preceded in death by his father and his stepfather, Walter P. Steinmacher.

He was survived by his mother and his sons, Dayton Palmer and Ryan Rodriguez; sister, Aimee Alvarado (Jake)nieces, Angela and Jannet Ramirez; and friend, Corina Gonzales.

Service was held Saturday, Dec. 5, 2009, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, followed by interment at Hondo Cemetery, Oakwood Section.
