Joe Maurice Fohn, age 83, of Hondo passed away Friday, Sept. 7, 2012. Born Sept. 28, 1928, in Hondo, he was the son of Maurice M. and Thelma (Decker) Fohn. He is preceded in death by parents and sister-in-law, Johelen Fohn. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Nester Fohn; son, Robert "Bobby" Fohn and wife Linda of Hondo, Kathleen "Kathy" Reavis and husband James of Sabinal, Susan "Susie" Kass and husband Tom of Janesville WI, and David Fohn and wife Cindy of Hondo; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; and brother, Charles Fohn of Camden AR. Memorial service will be at 10 a.m., Wednesday, Sept. 12, at St. Paul Lutheran Church. Private interment will be at a later date at Hondo Cemetery, Oakwood Section. The family suggests memorials may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church or Medina HealthCare Fund.
