Joe O. "Chino" Rosales, Age 81 years, 4 months, and 26 days, of Hondo, Texas, died on Monday, October 25, 2004. He was born in Hondo, Texas on May 29, 1923, the son of Manuel & Josefa (Castenda) Rosales. Chino was retired from Universal Rundle as a Bowl Castor. He was preceded in death by his parents; infant daughter Rosa Isela Rosales. Chino is survived by his wife Maria R. Rosales; daughters Leticia Gutierrez and husband Jose of Hobbs, NM, Estella Torrez and husband Raymundo of Winter Haven, FL, Rosa Elva Zamarrippa of Rudolph, OH, Maria Eva DeLeon and husband Isidro of Corpus Christi, Rosa Maria Lopez and husband Albert of Mathis; sons Sergio Rosales and wife Maria of Hondo, Jose Rosales and wife Carmen of Rudolph, OH, Rudolfo Rosales and wife Evangelina of Rudolph, OH; 25 grand children, 30 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild The Rosary will be at 7:00 pm Thursday, October 28, at the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. The Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 am Friday, October 29, at the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. The pallbearers were Gustavo Cardenas, Santiago Rodriguez, Roger Guedea, Johnny F. Dominguez, Henry Camacho, Abel A. Dominguez. The burial will follow at Hondo Cemetery, Guadalupe Section.
