Jose "Pino" Palacios went to be with the Lord on April 2, 2008 in San Antonio, TX after a 4 year battle with prostate cancer. He was born on March 12, 1950 in Hondo, TX. He graduated from Hondo High School in 1972. He was employed at Universal Rundle for 28 years. He married Lisa Correa Palacios on February 26, 1977. He had 3 sons Jose Luis Palacios of Austin, TX, Jose Leandro "Joey" Palacios, Jr. and Joshua Palacios both of Hondo, TX. He is preceded in death by his son Jose Leandro "Joey" Palacios, Jr., his parents Francisco & Isabel Palacios, his brothers and sisters Nicholas Palacios, Luisa Luz Fabro, Teresa Corona and Blas Palacios, Sr.. He is survived by his wife Lisa Palacios, sons Jose Luis Palacios of Austin, TX and Joshua Palacios of Hondo, TX. He is also survived by his brothers Frank Palacios of Kerrville, TX, Jimmy Palacios of Hondo, TX, Raul Palacios, Sr of San Antonio, TX, Juan Palacios of Hondo, TX and Ezequiel Palacios of Mesquite, TX; his sisters Isabel Rodriguez of Hondo, TX, Fannie Ybarra of Hondo, TX, Belia Clack of Dallas, TX, Hope Palacios of Hondo, TX and Maria Hensley of Houston, TX and numerous nephews and nieces. Rosary and Funeral Mass services will be held at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Hondo. Pallbearers are nephews Reggie Rodriguez, Joey Resendez, Stanley Clack, Nicholas Palacios, Ismael Palacios and Blas Palacios, Jr. Honorary Pallbearers are Juan Santana Fabro, Michael Corona, Raul Palacios, Jr., Ricky Rodriguez and Erik Hinojosa. We would like to thank his oncologist, Anthony W. Tolcher, M.D. and the entire staff at START for their excellent care.
