Joel Kreg Bedinghaus, age 43, of D'Hanis passed away Sunday, May 19, 2013, following a ranching accident. Born Aug. 27, 1969, in Hutchinson, KS, he was the son of William Edward and Georgia Ann (Wilson) Bedinghaus. He owned and operated Kreg's Travel Stop in Pearsall and Circle B Ranch in D'Hanis. Kreg made an impact on everyone he met through his kindness. Surviving are his wife, Aide Bedinghaus; son, Edward Paul Bedinghaus; daughters, Jacqueline Bedinghaus and Keri Ann Bedinghaus, all in D'Hanis; father and stepmother, William and Jenny Bedinghaus of Castroville; mother, Ann Bedinghaus of Hutchinson, KS; brother, William Kale Bedinghaus and wife Beth of Pueblo, CO; and half-sisters, Janna Noelle Bedinghaus of Thousand Oaks, CA, and Keri Shaddix of Atlanta, GA. The Guinn-Horger Chapel will be open for visitation on Thursday, May 23, from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, May 24, at First United Methodist Church, Hondo.
